Snow Safety Seminar was presented in conjunction with SheJumps on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Crystal Mountain Chapel. The evening included presentations by Kim Kircher, Director of the Crystal Mountain Ski Patrol, and NWAC, covering basics of avalanches in our local areas, keeping yourself and others safe, hazards both in and out of bounds, equipment, and more.
CMFC supported this event, providing pizza and beverages, and the SheJumps hosts also sold raffle tickets for some awesome swag (including a CMFC hat, of course!).
Thanks to Jeff Shibuya for the photos! If you have photos and/or additional information to contribute for posting, please email them to us!
Our 20th Anniversary & Summer Celebration
on Saturday, August 12th was great fun!
Over 300 people gathered to honor Rick Reininger as our newest Hall of Fame inductee, and we heard from one of our three CMAC Scholars. Board Members from the past twenty years came forward for a big round of applause, and our Club Administrator, Anne Prewitt received special thanks for her twenty years of service. Our new CMFC hats were a huge hit and many were sold (stay tuned - more hats to come!) and a lucky winner at each of our tables received one for free! Here are some photos, thanks to Don Rees - if you have photos to contribute to our slide show, please email us.

President Lori Nelson Adams presented a full report on the state of the club, events over the past year, new about the CM Resort, and plans for the year to come. We encourage members to attend the Annual Meeting for an opportunity to learn first hand what is going on with the club and the Mountain, to get together with other members, meet new members and board members.
Treasurer Fred Reininger presented a financial report and board member Dave Mahalko gave a report about CMFC's CMAC Scholarship Program.
Our Election Judge, past trustee Nancy Dees, announced the election results. Thanks went to Nancy, as well as to Linda and Liz Reininger for serving as our Election Officials.
Thanks also to Webb Thomsen for running for a board position. We hope to see his name on the ballot again in a future election.
Our 2017 Annual Election results were announced at the Annual Meeting on October 10th. Congratulations to our incumbent nominees, Kathryn Habenicht and Greg McNabb, who will continue serving for another term. Our sincere thanks to Webb Thomsen for running for a position. We hope to see his name on the ballot in the future.
