Campbell Basin double (C-5) starts operation in January.
Tacoma Teachers Ski Club opens in February, the last of the ski clubs to be built. In addition to Tacoma Teachers, the ski clubs in operation are Enumclaw, SkiBacs, Capitol, Edelweiss, Sitzmark, Rokka, Forelaufer, Billiken, and Skiers Inc.

Crystal management operates chairlifts to Summit House early the morning of February 26 so that Western Washington University science students and Overlake High School students can watch the solar eclipse.
